We utilize Edge AI technology; all sound recognition is processed locally on your phone. We never record, store, or upload any audio or location data to the cloud unless you intentionally trigger an alarm.
To enable our 'Invisible Guardian', we require 'Microphone' access for AI detection, 'Location' access for emergency positioning, and 'Background Execution' permission to ensure protection continues even when the screen is off.
Aurora's AI has been trained on thousands of critical scenarios to accurately identify cries for help, screams, sounds of physical struggle, or prolonged abnormal silence, while cross-referencing with physical impact or fall data for comprehensive assessment.
Our intelligent filter distinguishes between entertainment noise (like TV or movies) and genuine distress. It also features a brief vibration confirmation window, giving you a chance to cancel the alarm before it's sent to prevent false positives.
When the AI detects an anomaly: 1. Detection is triggered -> 2. Vibration and countdown confirmation -> 3. If not canceled, the system immediately sends a rescue SMS and alert containing your Google Maps location to your emergency contacts.
