Aurora requires Microphone access (for AI detection), Location access (for emergency positioning), and Background Execution (so protection continues when the screen is off). We only use these for the features you explicitly enable.
Aurora's AI recognizes cries for help, screams, sounds of physical struggle, and prolonged abnormal silence. It also cross-references physical impact or fall motion data for a comprehensive assessment before triggering an alert.
Our intelligent filter distinguishes entertainment noise from genuine distress. It also provides a brief vibration countdown window, giving you a chance to cancel before any alert is sent — minimizing false positives significantly.
